ICONODIAGNOSIS Exhibition

“THE ART OF DERMATOLOGY”

ESDR is delighted to introduce ISIS, International Society of IconodiagnosiS and Dr. Philippe CHARLIER, the founder and president of this learned society.

During the ESDR 2024 meeting in Lisbon, Corinne DECHELETTE, Pharm.D, PhD, vice-president of ISIS, will be hosting an ICONODIAGNOSIS exhibition in which the main dermatoses are depicted on international works of art.

During each coffee break, Corinne DECHELETTE, Pharm.D, PhD, vice-president of ISIS will introduce Iconodiagnosis in dermatology, which is a retrospective diagnosis of skin diseases depicted on works of art.

“According to your knowledge of your country’s national museums, you will be invited to take part in the international ISIS “Art &Skin” project.  Indeed, while famous paintings have been studied, ISIS is convinced that all the world’s museums, whether local or national, house lesser-known or even unknown works of art depicting various skin diseases.

Dear colleagues, if you already know an iconodiagnosis painting, please let us know by filling in the ISIS contact form.”
