Bio

Monika Arenbergerova is currently Professor of Dermatovenereology at the Third Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. She performs active duties in teaching, research, and medical practice.  Melanoma research has been her main specialization since the beginning of her career. Over the past years she has acquired substantial expertise in hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), advocating for the combination of surgical approach and biological treatment. Prof. Arenbergerova also oversees the Dermato-Oncological & HS Outpatient Unit in Prague, and regularly organizes advanced HS workshops on minor and major surgery in hidradentitis, for dermatologists interested in the field.
