Professor Anna Zalewska-Janowska MD, PhD, specialist in dermatology, venereology, allergy and clinical immunology is working at the Psychodermatology and Neuroimmunobiology of the Skin Department of the Medical University of Lodz in Poland. The unit deals with the dissemination of the importance of so called soft-competences in the activities of health care professionals and their role in preventing of burnout. Prof. Zalewska-Janowska is an advocate of the use of bio-psycho-social model of patient care. Her research interests are focused on dermatology, skin disorders, clinical immunology, quality of life and skin therapy. Professor Anna Zalewska-Janowska is a co-organizer of Neurobiology of the Skin Session at the ESDR Annual Meetings already for over 15 years.
