Prof. Franco Rongioletti is Full Professor of Dermatology at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele, Milan, Italy, Director of the Clinical Dermatology Unit at IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital, and Founder and Director of the School of Specialization in Dermatology. He is also Adjunct Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, USA. His research focuses on clinical dermatology and dermatopathology, particularly clinicopathological correlation, inflammatory dermatoses, cutaneous mucinoses, connective tissue diseases, rare skin diseases, and dermato-oncology. Prof. Rongioletti received his MD and specialist training in Dermatology, Tropical Dermatology, and Anatomical Pathology from the Universities of Genoa and Siena, Italy. He has held senior academic appointments at the Universities of Genoa and Cagliari and has been Visiting Professor at leading international institutions including Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins Hospital. He serves as Associate Editor of JEADV and Clinics in Dermatology and is a Board Member of SIDeMAST and member of the European Dermatology Forum. He has authored over 550 peer-reviewed publications and contributed to the WHO Classification of Skin Tumours.
