Professor Lidia Rudnicka is the Chairman of the EADV Scientific Programming Committee, past member of the Board of the EADV and AAD, and honorary president of the Polish Dermatological Society.

She is the head of the Department of Dermatology, Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. Her scientific achievements consist of over 500 publications (IF >1300). The main scientific achievement with Prof. Rudnicka is her contribution to the development of trichoscopy for the diagnosis of hair and scalp disorders. She coined the term “trichoscopy”, co-edited “The Atlas of Trichoscopy” and organized the First World Congress of Trichoscopy in Warsaw, Poland.

Her clinical interests focus on hair diseases and novel skin imaging techniques. She is an honorary member of several scientific Societies
