Zsuzsanna Bata-Csörgő

Zsuzsanna Bata-Csörgő is a professor of dermatology and clinical immunology at the Department of Dermatology and Allergy at the University of Szeged in Hungary. Her research, which started when she worked in the laboratory of Kevid D. Cooper at the University of Michigan, primarily relates to various aspects of psoriasis. The Szeged Department has a long standing history focusing on basic research owing to its previous chairs, Miklós Simon, Attila Dobzy and Lajos Kemény. Therefore when she returned from the US, she was able to continue her research, alongside patients’ care on a daily basis. She served on the ESDR board from 2010 until 2016.
